Dopo il grande successo delle prime due, per la terza trasferta del PYC - Palermo Youth Centre in Galleria149 cafè abbiamo voluto strafare presentandovi un'artista amatissima da tutto il panorama musicale palermitano: Paquita Gordon!!!!

Paquita Gordon è una DJ, sperimentatrice e direttrice artistica per musica di intrattenimento.
E’ un’esponente della cultura del vinile, viaggia con una borsa piena di dischi che mettono insieme diversi target di ascoltatori e appassionati, promuovendo e diffondendo sfumature musicali che vanno dal Jazz alla Techno, passando per il Soul, l’House e la musica Etnica.
Paquita nasce a Milano, ha vissuto in Inghilterra e in Sicilia dove ha fondato il collettivo AV-Netwerk e l’associazione culturale ‘Il Vulcano’, curando progetti come:
-‘Invitation to Love – Mahogani Music’ co-prodotto a Londra con la storica casa di dischi Vinyl Junkies;
-Quattro edizioni di ‘Stereocybele’ e ‘Capofare Space &’
-Festival nelle isole di Pantelleria e Salina con artisti quali Robert Lippok, Deadbeat, Joan Thiele, James Priestley, John Swing, Tommaso Cappellato e molti altri.
Paquita si è esibita negli eventi di chiusura delle tre edizioni del ‘Terraforma Experimental Music Festival’ ed è una resident mensile al Club Plastic - Milano, il club più importante e cool di Milano.
Ha partecipato all’ultimo tour internazionale di David August, riscuotendo un grande successo tra i frequentatori dei club europei più importanti.
Oggi Paquita è pronta per nuove avventure musicali.

Paquita Gordon is a DJ, explorer and artistic director for musical
entertainment. As an exponent of the vinyl culture, she travels with a bag of records gathering diverse listeners and passionates, spreading grooves of all sorts ranging from Jazz to Techno, passing by Soul, House and Ethnic music.

Born in Milan, she lived in England and Sicily where she founded the ‘AV-Netwerk’ collective and ‘Il Vulcano’ cultural association, curating projects such as ‘Invitation to Love – Mahogani Music’ in London co-produced with the historical record store Vinyl Junkies, hosting Andrès and Rick Wilhite from Detroit; four editions of ‘Stereocybele’ and ‘Capofaro Space & Sound’ festivals on the islands of Pantelleria and Salina with artists such as Robert Lippok, Deadbeat, Joan Thiele, James Priestley, John Swing, Tommaso Cappellato and many others.
She performed the closing acts of the first tree editions of ‘Terraforma Experimental Music Festival’ and is a monthly resident at Plastic, the most respectable club in Milan.
She was on board with David August’s last international tour gaining a great acclamation from the crowd of the most important EU clubs. Ready for new musical adventures!
